Principal Welcome

Welcome to Margaret K. Lewis School and the 2023-24 school year! MKL is a special purpose school serving the educational needs of students ages 3 to 22 years of age. Approximately 175 students attend MKL and they all qualify for Exceptional Student Education programs with services to support individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Visually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, Developmentally Delayed and Speech and/or Language Impaired. In addition, many students also receive Occupational and/or Physical Therapy. At MKL, we believe all students can learn when provided with the appropriate curriculum and supports.

We have a new website and also utilize Facebook and Twitter. Follow our Facebook page at "Margaret K. Lewis School" and our Tweets at "MKL Eagles" so that you can stay informed and know what's happening. You will also want to stay connected with your child's teacher on Class Dojo for the latest news about what is happening at MKL. Thank you for giving me the chance to work with you, your children, and the community.
